Seward Alaska Fishing, Sightseeing, Hunting and Eco-Tours

SEA QUEST (46 ft. Armstrong Catamaran):  We custom-designed this vessel for fishing, hunting, and sightseeing.  She was completed in May of 2006.  Her hull is heavy-duty aluminum.  She is licensed to carry 49 passengers, and can comfortably fish about 20 people around her extensive walk-around deck.  Her upper-deck is a perfect place to take a break from fishing and enjoy the natural surroundings.  In the main cabin, 34 people can be seated around five dining tables.  Even with a full load of fishermen and fish, she is among the fastest vessels in the Seward fleet of any size, with a comfortable cruising speed of around 23 knots and top speed of around 30 knots.  The owners of Alaska Northern Outfitters applied decades of collective charter fishing experience in her design, and she is unique, the first of a kind, a paradigm for fishing operations from Seward.  She is already being flattered by similar vessels that are being developed based on her design.  Vessel Particulars: Official Number: 1182372; Registered Length: 46.0’; Breadth: 18.0’; Propulsion: Twin Cummins QSM-11 engines (1,160 total hp); U.S. Coast Guard Certified for 49 passengers.

NORTHERN WIND (50 ft. Delta Marine): This vessel was built by Delta Marine specifically for operation in the Gulf of Alaska. Her hull is of the same heavy-duty fiberglass construction and design that Delta pioneered for its renowned commercial fishing vessels. The Northern Wind is a documented and inspected passenger vessel, licensed to carry up to 40 passengers. She has inside seating for 25 passengers, and has two heads (bathrooms). She has sleeping accommodations for up to 8 passengers. The Northern Wind has wide, walk-around decks for safety and for ease in sightseeing and fishing. On fishing trips, up to 16 people can fish around the rails, though we recommend 12 to 14 fishing positions. This vessel is a superb platform for extended custom charters, fishing and hunting in the distant and isolated bays of Prince William Sound, and eco-touring deep into the Fjords beyond the range of the daily tour fleet. Vessel Particulars: Official Number: 92694; Registered Length: 50.0'; Breadth: 15.7'; Gross Tons: 40; Propulsion: Twin Caterpillar 3208T engines with Twin Disc MG-507-1 Marine Gears; U.S. Coast Guard Certified for 40 Passengers.
