Seward Alaska Fishing Charters for Halibut, Salmon, Ling Cod & Rockfish

Captain Ezra Campbell (Alaska Northern Captain and Co-Founder):
Capt. Ezra is a Coast Guard-licensed Master and head of the Alaska Northern Fleet. He was born and raised in the woods near Seward, and has been fishing commercially and aboard charter fishing vessels his entire life. He's the only person we know to have pioneered a successful mink-trapping line before he was a teenager, and he remains a serious hunter and outdoorsman. He is safe, experienced, and regarded by many as the best skipper in the Seward charter fishing fleet. He also happens to be a nice guy who enjoys helping others to experience the outdoors.

Shirley Campbell: Shirley is mostly the person in charge at Alaska Northern Outfitters. Ezra is her husband.  When you call Alaska Northern Outfitters to book a trip, there’s a good chance you will talk with Shirley.  She’s the boss of our company, and we’re certain you will find her to be helpful and charming.  She’s quite knowledgeable about fishing, as well as about where to stay and other fun activities in Seward, so please ask if you need any help in this regard.

Trevor McCabe (“Silent” Co-Founder): Trevor grew up in Seward with Jeremiah and Ezra.  He now lives mostly in Anchorage and only sometimes in Seward (he’s therefore known in Seward as an “Anchor-roach”).  Trevor worked as a deckhand in the Seward charter fishing fleet as a teenager.  This is an even earlier photo of Trevor with his dad, Bob McCabe, and one of many fish that Trevor has caught in Seward since the 1970s.  Though Trevor has been to college and law school, he is just an occasional deputy deckhand in the Alaska Northern Outfitters fleet.  Fancy degrees apparently don’t mean squat when it comes to fishing.

Captain Sean Carlin :
Capt. Sean joined Alaska Northern in the spring of 2006 at the ripe old age of 19. He immediately established himself as one of the hardest working crew on the Seward docks and has been gobbling up experience ever since. During the winters, Sean commercial fishes in Alaska and in Hawaii. He has the worst case of fishing disease we've seen in about a decade. At 21, Sean is probably the youngest skipper in the Seward fleet. He's happiest on the water, in any capacity. Whether he's your skipper, deckhand, or fishing next to you on his day off, Sean Sean will increase the fish count and serve as an exceptional guide. He's an integral part of Alaska Northern Outfitters.

Captain Jeremiah Campbell (Alaska Northern Honorary Member):
Capt. Jeremiah is a Coast Guard-licensed Master who occasionally serves as a skipper in the Alaska Northern fleet. He was born and raised in Seward, Alaska, and has lived in Seward his entire life with the exception of six years of service in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is an avid fisherman, hunter, adventurer, and recovering general contractor. Jeremiah is a strong conservationist who supports the sustainable harvest of fish and game. His interest in the outdoors and in sharing the outdoors with others has become a passion. Jeremiah and his lovely wife Angela helped establish Alaska Northern in 2002 and they remain good friends of the company.  We remain grateful for their blood, sweat, and tears!
